it is nights like these when i would love to be back in my cozy claflin single, surrounded on all sides my best friends’ rooms and snuggling into bed thinking how lucky i am to still have nights left at wellesley.

My last day of classes is tomorrow! I’m starting to be really sad about it - there are so many great people I won’t see again.
On the bright side, I have my college seminars figured out.

whaaat? they would offer such a cool course on Japan once I graduated! boo. not that i could have taken it as a first year, but still! that would have been really interesting, especially having been to hiroshima. somehow i never ended up at yasukuni shrine, though… weird that i didn’t know about it.
i wrote the whole paper!
well, the first draft, at least. 17 pages of glory! i think it’s quite a good paper.
we will see what i think when i wake up later to edit it.
but for now it is time to eat eggs and have a nap!

this is the sad time of night
when there are no new posts on tumblr.
i’m on page 9 of my paper and it technically only has to be 12 pages long, but i can tell that in order to make the most compelling argument and thorough examination of the situation, i’m going to need the maximum 20 pages allowed. though i have denied it far and wide, this situation in particular proves to me that i am somewhat of a perfectionist and most definitely have wendy tendencies. WAY TO WENDY IT UP WHEN YOU COULD HAVE BEEN DONE WITH YOUR UNDERGRADUATE WORK 3 DAYS AGO.
remember this morning, self? when you said you were going to try and write the whole paper today? well, now it’s tomorrow, self, and you’re not even halfway done. nice job.
i’ll probably also regret saying this later, but my finals high for these past two days has been One Direction’s two hit singles and the Disney Princess play-along website. Whatever, they’re both harmless, clean fun and the website in particular is excellent for 10 minute study breaks. the only problem is that i become so absorbed in the princess tasks that i forget i’m in the final throes of finals and then when i have to return to my paper i am completely unwilling. boo.
