personal note: guys, this CD is my baby! i’ve been working on it with the tupelos for the past three years, and now as president i’ve been working insanely hard to get it released for my final concert at wellesley. countless hours of energy, heart, and soul have been poured into this album, and it would mean the world to me if you’d buy it!

it was my turn to bring snacks to tupelos rehearsal on thursday. i had almost no work this week, which is unheard of at wellesley. this might have been the easiest, most wonderful week i ever had.
so anyhow, i wanted to bake something a little more time consuming! i looked at st. patrick’s day recipes, but i found these “in like a lion, out like a lamb!” cupcakes and fell in love.
i couldn’t find a lot of the materials i needed, so i just substituted, but i think they turned out really nicely!

every time i take a study break i end up back on this website because right now it’s putting the biggest smile on my face.
i can’t believe we’ve had so much success! maybe if we’re really lucky we’ll make the entire $3500 we need :)

just in case you're interested

I’m the president of my college a cappella group, and we’re putting out a new professional album, but we desperately need money! The total cost of producing a CD is around $7,000, and we’ve raised about $4,000, but our on-campus fundraising and paid gigs just aren’t adding up to enough.

We’re trying a new fundraising site called Kickstarter, where you can donate any amount, from $1 to whatever you please! Every donation of $5 or more will receive a reward, like a song download or a CD (the more money, the better the reward).

If you’re interested in a cappella music at all, or you know and like me and want me to smile so wide my face hurts, check out our link!
